Summer Coaching Programme
Junior Coaching
Free coaching for Junior Members continues on Thursdays throughout the summer; in the evenings from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm until the end of June and on Thursday mornings during the summer holidays. All Junior Members welcome.
Junior Summer Schemes
A number of two and three day structured summer schemes will be run for junior beginners and improvers during the summer months, with fun games, competitions and coaching. These will be half day sessions with lunch provided. Click for Enrolment Form

Senior Leadbetter Instructor Visits
|
Andrew Nicholson, the Leadbetter Senior Director of Instruction in Europe, will be coaching at Shandon Park for up to four days each month, with individual lessons, group coaching and special clinics in short game, putting and driving. Dates for his first visit have been confirmed for 6th to 9th July.

Fun and Games for Tots and Kids
Indoor sessions (mainly) for the under 8s will commence on Monday 28th June, with soft balls, indoor nets and targets to introduce the younger kids to golf. Tee and coffee provided for mums and dads. Cost £10 per session.
Leadbetter Junior Development Programme
Aimed at developing junior golfers, the Leadbetter Junior Development Programme is a structured programme of tuition and development covering technical aspects of the swing, rules and etiquette, course management and the psychology of the game. With ten group sessions spread throughout the year, the programme works through Bronze, Silver and Gold levels over three years to take developing golfers from improver level to competitive standard, with regular testing and measurement of progress throughout the programme. The first course starts in September. Details to follow.
Individual Lessons with our Leadbetter Associate Coach – Peter Morgan

Peter Morgan, our Leadbetter Associate Coach, is available throughout the year for individual or group lesson. Peter is a fully qualified PGA Porfessional who trained at Bangor for five years with Michael Bannon and also works with the GUI Ulster Branch on their junior coaching programmes at Greenmount.
